 Health Issues WebringsMy health has been deteriorating since the 1980s. First I was diagnosed with bilateral carpal tunnel. That destroyed a secretarial career. Thirteen years ago I was in an accident that triggered Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Fibromyalgia, and depression. Nine years ago I had my right knee replaced. The left knee was replaced in 2006. Unfortunately, due to a life long deformity and knee surgery from 1969, my leg no longer can be trusted to keep me on my feet. Now I must use a walker whenever I will land on a hard surface or risk falling up/down stairs. This inability to get much exercise has resulted in a weight problem. I have also been diagnosed with Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder (COPD), Asthma, Sjögren's Syndrome (dry mouth/eyes), and live with chronic back pain due to my spine curviture. My mother died on April 27, 2009 of from multiple Myleloma and Alzheimer's. I enjoy managing webrings in addition to finding the chatter in the webring "shout box" fun. Webrings has proved to be a great place to make friends with similar circumstances. We have created our own "support" system in the shout box. These are the "health related" webrings I have adopted.
