Welcome to the DLPwriter's Webrings

Webrings™ link websites together. Each website in the webring™ is on the topic of the webring. The topics may be general, such as "Churches", or the webring might deal just with Lineolated Parakeets.

I currently own the following webrings. If you would like to be considered for membership in one or more of these webrings, please click on the "join" link. This will take you to the webring management website where you may fill out an application. Once you have taken the appropriate steps, including putting the webring banner on your website, I will review your website to be sure it meets my standards and is appropriate for that particular webring.

Standard Requirements for
All Websites in My Webrings

High standards for websites will be enforced. Sites with broken links will be placed on "hold" for 30 days. If not fixed within 14 days, it will be denied membership or deleted from the ring if you are already a member. This means you should check your webring mail frequently. If I note you haven't visited webring.com for six months or more, I will simply delete it from the webring and you will have to reapply for membership in the ring.

Websites with print over background pictures, or bubbles flowing up the screen, or anything else that makes the print impossible to read will be denied membership.

SPECIAL REQUEST: Sites must be easy to read. The font should be a size that enables most people to read it without needing to resize the print via their own web browser. Most people just skip over pages they can't read! That loses visitors to your websites. Remember, "older people" are the fastest growing group online today and many of these people can't read tiny print.

If you have a question about your site qualifying, please contact the ring manager (link next to name of ring at top of this page) to see if it will qualify; if it doesn't you will receive information on what changes are necessary.

Please read this carefully since I will be evaluating each site to see if they meet this new standard. My goal, as the new Ring Manager, is to make this a webring function for ALL members.

If you use a "webring" page to list your webring memberships, make sure there is a link near the TOP of the page that makes it easy for the ring surfer to find your content pages. "Home" links at the bottom of a long page of webrings cause many ring surfers to quit, thus losing visitors for EVERYONE in the ring.
